It lies just 45 miles southeast of Burlington, Vermont via Interstate 89. It is 3 hours from Boston and Hartford, 2 hours from Montreal and 6 hours from New York City. Mad River Glen ski area is located on Route 17 in central Vermont, 5 miles from Waitsfield. From the south, take I-91 or I-93 north to I-89 to Route 100 south to Route 17. |
