Directions: Fernie Alpine Resort is located in the Southeast corner of the B.C. Rockies on Highway No.3 approximately 60 km (40 miles) from the Alberta and U.S. borders. It is 5 km (3 miles) from the City of Fernie and only 1.5km up the hill from the highway intersection.
Whether driving yourself or taking the bus, the road to Fernie will lead you through some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the world. The drive is easy with no major mountain passes and the roads are well maintained.
Airlines fly into Cranbrook (75 minute drive to Fernie), Kalispell, Montana (2 hour drive) and Calgary International Airport (3 hour and 30 minute drive). Transfers are available from the Calgary and Cranbrook Airports, although they must be pre-arranged. |
